Day 21: Dignity In Humility

Whom did God choose to tell first about his son’s birth? Shepherds! An angel of the Lord appeared to humble shepherds who were tending their sheep underneath the night sky. How encouraging! God doesn’t seek people with extraordinary qualifications. He seeks people who are quietly doing their jobs, and uses those people for his purposes. That brings a lot of dignity to our roles a moms, doesn’t it? We can serve God right where we are.

Father, like the humble shepherds, we want to worship and serve you too. Amen.
