What's the best thing about being an author?
Knowing you can encourage, entertain, and challenge others with your words
Knowing when a reader connects with your work
Anything and everything you enjoy can be “research” — reading, watching movies, talking to your friends, traveling, and so on!
What advice can you give for aspiring writers?
Read wide and read deep
Revise, revise, revise!
Listen to your editor — the right editor is there to help you and make your work stronger!

Michellan Sarile-Alagao likes learning about people, so she studied Criminology and Psychology at the London Metropolitan University. Since she likes writing too, she finished an MFA in Creative Writing at De La Salle University-Manila.
