Why We Read the Bible Every Day
Bettinna Carlos Eduardo is the mother of Amanda Lucia of Gummy. For 16 years she pursued a career in television as an actress, host, and cook in a cooking show. Her first book, Heartbreaks and Breakthroughs was published by OMF Literature last 2019. Just last year, she got an answer to one of her prayers as she got married to Mikki Eduardo. She attends Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF) and is active in serving the church’s fitness and solo parents’ ministry. We have been getting a lot of messages asking about why and how we do our devotions and read our Bibles. We are actually working on a video for that (HOW) na mas elaborate, but to give a quick answer as to WHY we read the Bible everyday, we have several reasons:
1. Because we treasure it, we have come to love it and we need it everyday. Yes, need talaga. For us it is an essential and crucial part of our day.
2 From God's Word nakikilala namin ang Panginoon. We read because gusto namin Siyang mas makilala pa.
5. Personally, God's Word gives me comfort.
Kaya sa last chapter ng #HeartbreaksandBreakthroughsABC dinedicate ko talaga yon on comforting others through God's Word. Na para sa iba't-ibang cares mo, may Bible verses na siguradong will give you comfort. Why am I sure? Because the Bible says God's Word is alive and active (Hebrews 4:12).
Encouraging you to start reading. The sooner you start, the sooner you can get to know and fall in love with The One who loved you first and loves you most!
Being a solo parent may feel like you're carrying a cross of solitude, stigma, and suffering. But take heart.
In Heartbreaks and Breakthroughs, actress, entrepreneur, and single mom Bettinna Carlos prays that single parents (and even those going through times) will - See how God always has a good purpose for everything He allows to happen in your life. He is always at work in your life and shows you that none of the your pain ever goes to waste. Rest in your role knowing that you are not alone in this journey.
You have a Faithful Partner in God the Father. He is the Source of not just Provision for your needs but also the Power to parent your child. He is your child's Father as much as He is your heavenly Father.
