Holy Week Reflections: He Will Carry You
When we are so focused on our pain, we can lose sight of God, our ultimate Healer. But it takes a heart that fully trusts God and His process para ma-appreciate ang grand purpose ni Lord sa ating buhay. What the Lord Jesus stated in Luke 4:18 (GNT) offers this hope.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed . . .”
If you feel you are in the darkest place in the entire universe, it might be the place where you are meant to flourish. You need to hibernate for a while so that you can produce the best fruits of your life. The Lord is not really hurting you, He is preparing you for the next level of your journey.
The same boiling water that softens the potato and hardens the egg also releases the aroma of coffee beans. A litmus test of what you are really made of. Tandaan: Mas madaling masaktan kaysa maranasan ang kagalingan. Pero hindi forever ang kasakitan. Tiis-tiis muna. This, too, shall pass.
We can never be 100-percent healed habang nasa mundong ibabaw. But you can do better. Get rid of the “victim” mindset. You don’t need to hide kung may dinadala kang kasakitan. Tuloy lang ang buhay. Pursue your dreams and purpose, and let the healing process take its course. You are worthy to be loved and recognized as you are.
When you see and feel brokenness, never despair. Progress is never linear. Keep going.
does not mean that He is not at work in your life. Ang pangako Niya ay sasamahan Niya tayo because He cares for us.161 He is the Restorer of our body, soul, and spirit. He can wipe every tear from our eyes.162 Ang focus ay hindi sa kagalingan kundi sa nagpapagaling. Seek His face more than His hand. If you desire to commit your life to our ultimate Healer, you may say this prayer from the depths of your heart and soul.
Amen.”
Hindi kailangang magmukmok. Lapit lang. Come as you are. Keep your face toward God’s restoring light and the shadows of your mental illnesses shall fall behind you. We are called to walk in His grace and strength. Magaan ang paglalakbay basta Siya ang lagi mong kaagapay. Padayon,163 kapatid, para sa mas maliwanag at makabuluhang buhay!
