Integrity Personified

Some people complain about their bosses. “I can't trust him.” “He always sugarcoats the truth.” “I wish he could be more forthright!” “He says one thing and does another.”

Our woes about our boss are often not about his lack of productivity, efficiency, brilliance, or intelligence. It's mostly about how he affects our work and attitude.

To be more specific, it's about his character.

The best boss I ever had was integrity personified. He spoke the truth in all occasions, he walked his talk, and his word was as good as gold, so to speak. As a result, I—the whole staff—trusted him, and we were inspired to do the best for him.

All believers, boss or worker, must be seen and admired for their integrity.

Christ, our Role Model, is always true to His Word—He fulfills His promises. Therefore, all His followers must also strive to do the same.

Lord, help me walk my talk. May I always be truthful to those I work with.

“O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?

He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart”

Psalm 15:1-2 (ESV)
