halcyon

unfurling, this feeling
a rooting in my chest
breeds humility sharpened
by decadent lightness
this hallowed gladness
spilling the vessels of words
beyond the limits of language
the gravity, this blessing
opens my mouth, humming
tear-stained hallelujahs
to echo into an ordained
recollection of eternity

i kneel
into an enshrining
into an elevation.
