Just Hope
Just Hope
One day at a time—
Do your job. Function.
Exist. And don’t forget to fight for meaning.
One night at a time—
Lie down. Silence your head.
Wrestle if you must.
Then rest.
Repeat—
Wake up to a new day with the same old drama;
to a new night with the same old song.
And hope—
That a brighter day is coming.
That a plot twist is brewing.
That an upbeat song is humming.
So for now—
Just function and exist.
Wrestle and rest.
But hope—
—still hope.
