How Children Can Be Kind

The world can be tough and full of unhappy people. How can our children make this world better? By being kind. The new book Bee Kind teaches young children the value of kindness. As author Joyce Piap Go writes, “Kindness cannot be taken for granted.”

In Bee Kind, Dee the Bee shows different situations where children can show kindness: cheering up a sad classmate, helping a friend, being patient with the elderly, and many other acts of compassion.

The book is the eight title in the popular series, Dee the Bee. The series has received many positive feedback from parents. One mom says, “Our all-time favorite gifts for my daughter’s friends is the Dee the Bee series. I hoard them when they go on sale in bookstores! The illustrations are beautiful and perfect for kids under five. All the mommies always thank us for such a useful gift that their kids enjoy and actually learn from!”

Bee Kind is written by Joyce Piap-Go who’s a life coach, resource speaker, and counselor in the radio program Heartline, which is aired over DZAS 702 AM. Maria Cristina Sison, an award-winning animator, illustrated the book.

Bee Kind is available at all OMF Lit Bookshop and Passages branches for only P100.00. It will soon be available in National Book Store, Philippine Christian Bible Store, and other leading bookstores.
